Complain again Immune

The objective must be respected. He can take all the time he wants as long as he attempts to complete an objective before the round is over. It doesn't matter what you or 10 other people request. In GG, camping is allowed until it prolongs the round. Due to the nature of races like crypt lord though, wcs is different and you can camp all you want as long as you attempt an objective at some point. This is how its always been and anyone who says differently is wrong.

I understand that the objective must be completed, but that doesn't seem to be the issue here, it seems to be more of Immune taking his time before moving, since he doesn't have to. I think a demo would make it more clear since then it will be ovbvious if Immune was not respecting the objective or if the others were being impatient. Overall though I have seen people complain about not doing the objective when there is over 1:30 left on the clock which is annoying as fuck.

As far as immune berating you, well yeah that seems about right, especially with your English it probably makes everything more irritating, not a dig at you your English is better than my French, just that it is really frustrating and kinda annoying sometimes hearing broken English.

The rules state it's against the rules to camp and not do objectives. But the rules also state you can camp as long as you want as long you attempt to do some objectives? That's silly. That means I can camp for the full round, and as long as I 'move to do an objective' (emphasis on the quotes) in the last fifteen seconds of any given round, nothing can be done to curb my shitty camping behavior, thus everyone must suffer for the 90% of the duration of the round because I'm a shitty camping baddie. What happens if I camp the entire duration of the round but someone kills me? Am I bannable because 'I camped and didn't move to do an objective?'

Why even have an anti camping rule in the first place? Defeats its on purpose on the face of it.

if it only takes you 15 seconds to complete the objective then that's fine. you need to move with reasonable time to complete the objective. you mostly play gg and it is different there, but in wcs there are races such as eye ra and crypt lord which are best played in a safe place, so camping is part of it. both races have ultimates which give them offensive capabilities with infinite range. so obviously sitting in spawn as a human or something gets a lot less leeway, but it's extremely rare that such a thing happens.

What I guess I was really asking is what kind of demo would Jester have to provide to prove that Immune broke the rules? On a bomb map, how long would Immune have to sit in spawn for it to be considered an infraction? Jester said he was camping for '2 to 3 minutes' - clearly neither of us know how accurate that is - but on a bomb map, I guess the real question is what's a reasonable amount of time to complete an objective? Shouldn't the Ts be moving to bomb plant locations near constantly? If we state that 'killing the other team' is a viable objective, the rules against camping are pointless.

I get there are races where camping is advantageous (camping in CS:S and FPSes is, in fact, advantageous in general) but if you're going to condone camping and not completing objectives on one hand and have a rule against it on the other, I guess I struggle to make sense of why, other than 'so I can enforce it when I feel it's warranted,' which is a very subjective, and arguably bad, methodology to creating rule sets.

in a pub situation you'd be right. i'm not condoning not completing the objective, i'm condoning waiting as late as you want (within reason) to do so. on a bomb map, it usually takes 20-30 seconds to get to a bombsite and plant the bomb, assuming minimal interference. so as long as you have about that much time left, you're fine to camp.

, but really the 2nd part has been disregarded in practice, because of how it can somewhat conflict with the first part. as long as the objective is attempted with reasonable time left to complete it, camping is allowed. camping beyond that point is not allowed.
