Making multiple forum accounts is not against the rules according to the official 'Forum Rules v1.2' in the rules section. I'm sure it will be updated accordingly, following this event, thus 'rules made up as we go along' would apply if so.

As for the posting of the video being a 'blatant attack,' I'm sure that was likely the offender's intention, however it clearly blew up in his face as we all had a good laugh about it and Carmichal is a great sport and took it in stride. Honestly, the 'hunt' for this person and what will undoubtedly lead to a subsequent ban of said person is blowing things out of proportion.

For a group that seems so comfortable making some really, really crude jokes, this sure is being taken pretty fucking seriously.

Malicious intent is punishable in the court of law, and the same should be applied here. It is heavily toxic to the community.

Agreed. And in a court of law, you are tried prior to being sentenced. Prove to me that one anonymous post by an unknown party truly contains 'malicious intent' beyond any shadow of a doubt and that said malicious intent was somehow 'heavily toxic' to the community (it wasn't, we all fucking laughed about it, including the intended victim), and I suppose I'll agree with a ban.

Side note - people post on this forum literally all the time with malicious intent. Nothing ever happens to them. Why is that?
