Ads in your ear during CSS gameplay!?

Ok at least twice a map now, ill get a shit ton of lag and ill faintly hear an ad in the background for about 5 seconds, this only happens on the server, so unless its a really specific virus that everybody has, its probably something from the server or steam

What could be onto something.

The server displays a welcome page at the start of a game, and it could be that there's an ad that slithered its way onto that page, weather from someone posting a link in the wrong page that got parsed into the server... or it could be that zero's making a few bucks out of playing ads subtly on the server due to the traffic we get:P LOL

(i wonder if someone ever thought about using displaying ads via high traffic game css servers rather than browsers)

still, zero should look into how the welcome screen works.... it's kinda outdated sometimes, and it could use a revamp nway, and a slight intro about IBIS and its members and goals and servers.

i dont think its an add from the motd. If zero did in fact set it up this way id recommend he take it down. Google ad sense will disable accounts for that spike in ad impressions. This is why i do not think it is an ad place intentionally.
