Onto mikey/Phils question: Mikey I bolded the names to make it easier to read on the eyes. I also italicized the "verdict". And the reason why we want EVERYONE'S opinion (phil) is so that we can see where EVERYONE'S thoughts are. Normally I'd settle for everyone just stating FOS's with reasoning, but a good amount of the players are new. You should get in the habit of doing this regardless if it's asked for or not. Some people take it as far as running full ISOs (isolation of individual posts out of context to catch slips, check the mafia scum wiki for details) on every player in the game, but it's not seen as a very productive tactic and wastes a lot of time.

With that said, when I get home if I'm not tired (may save for tomorrow morning) I'll go through and try and discern motive to kill within everyone's posts. Thinking back I know Pass shared some great suspicions one in particular comes to mind, but I'll let you guys find it.

the part you added, you are somewhat right. However, determining why players were killed is important. If there is a reason behind deaths apart from being 100% random, as town, we want to know about it.

lastly, you also forgot to mention any possibility of a roleblock.

The reason why this is critical is because killers see who's role they kill. Why are both you and blade throwing out the possibility of a role block?

Reiterating the possible scenarios is just upping post count. Pointless. There are only a finite amount of possibilities and I stated all of them in my first Day 2 post. You adding the "why?" Was good, but as I said in my previous post be cautious of trying to figure out what scum is thinking.

Nemesis stated that flavor text means nothing in this game early on, so as that being a Mod post I take it seriously.

Although, I would like some confirmation on the seriousness of that statement early on in the game Nemesis. Are we to disregard your flavor text completely? If so, please just post deaths from now on.

What we have is two players who are missing. Why did those players go missing instead of say.. the vets? Because we have noobs playing who want an educational game? Id think they would fearkill because they ont know any better.
Is it a combination of vets and newbies? Trying to prolong the game for educational purpose?

sin, alot of my post, i retract. The "contradiction" part was in regards to not hearing players opinions about possibilities. You may think its useless but it could be fruitful.. for examp0le, mustering up the courage for the vig to claim that he shot someone who isnt dead atm.

Or a way for the vig to soft claim.

also, you know that most of the players here are new to mafia.
Though i agree it is a bad habit to share opinions about everything all the time. I think its good to get people in the habit of talking about relevant game material. (stuff that is relevant ONLY to the game, none of that theory bullshit.. they can google that shit themselves)

an example. If we had everyone post there opinions on what shape they think town will be in day 3 in regards to numbers. We can use that and explain to the new people how to base a motive or action. I.e. sometimes no lynching is actually a very good thing but we have never taken the time to play it out and explain why.
