Blackmage successfully visited the killer, he didn't have to go anywhere...the caroler would also have successfully visited imo. At the very least, the journo would have noted the sleepwalker's presence. They wouldn't visit at different times, nothing I read hints at that anyway. The caroler might have visited the stalker, and he could have visited someone else like the journo. Could have even visited Blackmage for all we know.

The "times" are irrelevant as they are just strictly fluff, but I see what you mean by us not knowing exactly who the Journo was on. I'll mark up my theories however. See below:

All the while, a third party (THE JOURNO) watched from the trees, detailing every step of the encounter in his trusty leather notebook<--- This doesn't happen just fluff.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town. Where the first drone strike hit, you here screams of horror.






In that final hour(TIME FLUFF), hell had broken loose and bombs began to fall.
It was only fitting that the evil man in Washington to take out his first hit, be randomly visited by the person (THE SLEEPWALKER) he was hitting.

"I will no longer tolerate your insufferable law keeping!"
The man did not respond.
"We will seek vengenace on those who choose not to obey us!"
The man still did not respond.
"Hey, you... are you... sleeping? Perfect, this will make for an easy hit"
And with that
Blackmage as Innocent law Abiding Citizen, Town Sleepwalker. was Shot down.

The night did not end there unfortunately. Bombs began to fall at a much faster rate, before dawn broke.. half the city was in ruins.


Day 1 has begun.
No deadline.
With 11 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.

@brett: at first someone said that whoever the Caroler with his crappy voice was trying to sing to the killer.
So i suggested to either him outing himself to get a 1 v 1 on mafia.

But after rereading the text realized that whoever that Asshole sung to might not have been the killer (if only it was that easy).
But in fact the journalist seems to know who the Carolee I'd (based on sin's interpretation of scene)

So I suggested that some vt offer to be visited if they are semi sure they aren't the fool. And the Carolee can sing to them and the journalist can creep up on that. Trust me, it will be a bit of a race at first where mafia is trying to find those 2 power roles before the Carolee sings all the members.
The best part is that while doing that, they risk hitting the fool, so they gotta be careful and not just randomly tag ppl.

It's not the greatest plan but it the best I could think of where We would have a copy of all the names said if that vt died at night, stored with someone safe or told by the expandable vt during the day. Rise and repeat

As Town we need something to go off of. The Journalist was watching what was going on, so we can go about this 2 ways. The Caroler outs who they visited, if the MAF counter-claims then the Journo can verify. I'm assuming the Journo picked the Stalker to visit, from the flavor text.

This setup is fairly simple to figure out who the Maf are, and only a couple ways to get around it, one of them being counter-claiming.
