NoLynch is a commonly used tactic in EpicMafia which this setup comes from. Which I why I jumped to it.

That being said, the caroler knows who the killer is. The Journo knows who the Caroler is. Going into a nolynch will give them both ample opportunity to gain MORE information going into Day 2, without forcing them to soft/hard claim due to a bandwagon.

I changed my mind on Carol outting after I re-read the flavor text. Originally I thought Journo followed the Killer, but I did skim over it pretty quick this morning on the train.

Excuses aside, we have a few options for Day 1:

1) Caroler claims by outting who they caroled (The Killer), we then lynch the Killer obvi, but Caroler dies in Night 2.
2) Start a random wagon to get a claim (Most likely VT, obvi). Run with that info.
3) NoLynch. Caroler then has to pick someone else to Carol, hopefully someone town-sided. Journo attempts to find Stalker and get his report.

Yes, if the Caroler and Journo target the same player, even if that player is killed, Town will receive the report. So Journo could go that route, as well.
