Not saying what cyber did was right or justified, just saying that trying to do something good for the "fraternity" shouldn't be received differently based on whether or not you're an official member.

IBIS USED to be a "fraternity". It hasn't been one for years. It's just a weird group to get into to feel some sort of "accomplishment", I guess? Like a piece of tier 1 raid gear in WoW.

Not saying shit was so great back then either, not with the way some of the members acted, but at least they acted like a "clan".

The rules are in place because it has been determined by clan that it is good for the community. If those rules need to change then it will be up to the clan to make that decision.

Of course it is going to be received differently, he tried to do something good for the community that broke the behavioral boundaries set in place and someone complained about it. He is not an official member so the decisions he makes that breaks those boundaries will be scrutinized heavier than those who have earned their place, regardless of whether or not they earned it under the same conditions applicants have to put up with now.

I lolled at the last post.

Ok so I had a couple of days to cool off.
What I did was wrong by the current rulebook. I get it, I'm nor arguing this

By the definition of the term I abused, no matter how small and stupid the abuse is. That's not the point of this because I know I fucked up, I know that, I'm not an idiot.

In my head I was doing the right thing at a time by taking a vote ban that is 2 votes away and enforced it myself to quicken the solution Before more ppl left.
In retrospect, i wish yoshir had the common courtesy of a veteran player to acknowledge that the server is distress, and is a wasteland unless people helped out. But as an admin myself I should not EXPECT this courtesy from someone who can't put 2 and 2 together, nor should I enforce it.


I will not apologize for what I did, he had it coming at the time because the player base we have is atrocious, he needed to take the hint even tho he technically didn't do anything wrong by the book, but i hope he takes the hint that he needs to be a better player when the server is dead. Because all his whoring will come to an end if there is no server to who're in, and all zeros2work is put in vain.


That being said, I fucked up. And i know where I fucked up. I like to pretend that I matter in the food chain because I like to help ibis when it's not my job yet (and probably will never be at this point) to be that vigilant when obviously clan is on the case. Right? I mean they have to have some amazing plans in motion since it's been 3 months since the server died completely. I probably missed those though


But yes, I get blindsided trying to help and I just fuck up. That's me.
I will not apologize for trying to help wrongfully, i will apologize for my attitude about it because I dislike people who like to talk shit just to hurt other people because they are worthless individuals, but it's the Internet, i should expect better from low lives.


Anywho, abuse confirmed by myself. 5 minute ban is over but I'm noting that I used my admin incorrectly to try to enforce my own ruling not in the TOS,no matter my intentions.

As for my comment earlier, yes if I had the CHOICE I would do it again, because u can be all the hypocritical douchenozzle u can mikey, but when u make a decision once, that's what u chose. And if it was the same scenario, i'd CHOSE it again.
But the difference is that my personal choice, I always chose to do things that aren't in the rulebook I won't stop now.
However, the next time I'll try to be more patient and remember that even if I chose to kick his ass again, I shouldn't do it, and won't.
