I heard something about "Earth isn't the only planet heating up in our solar system."

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

It isn't. That's the scary part about this all. It's not just the Earth, it's the entire solar system. Considering I read this information a year ago in an astronomy class. It's only going to get worse. This is being caused I believe from what I read by increasing temperatures from the Sun, and gravitational pull.

I hadn't heard this, so I figured I should read up on it. Found:
    http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...s-warming.html
    http://www.newscientist.com/article/...rming-too.html
    http://www.skepticalscience.com/glob...lar-system.htm
    http://scienceblogs.com/startswithab...global_war.php

Haven't had a chance to read through these yet, but will do so when I get home. Seems like a good bit of speculation though.

The problem with science is you will always have a scientist who has skepticism to what another scientist finds. The argument of climate change in the solar system is comparable in my opinion to those who look for when does a fetus feel pain in regards to abortions.

Reading through these articles, I'm looking at a ton of bias from different scientists quoting different findings from different sources. Some people who are even unaware of what other planets functions are in the solar system. Example would be Jupiter, where Galileo in his earlier findings thought Jupiter internally generated heat, also considering it's high CO2 levels.

I also forgot to mention in regards to the sun and gravitational pull is other astronomical happenings in the solar system. The funny part that I always found interesting about space is there is more than 1 million galaxies that collide with each other. I forgot how many years this goes on, but it loops out plenty of planets when these collisions occur disrupting normal functions of the planets.

Note that during that it is very rare for things to physically collide. Also the temp comparatives I hear about were from Mars (took 2 semesters of astronomy in collage and 1 in high school).

Yeah the planets don't physically collide. What happens is when the two galaxies are reaching each other, it's more of a swerving motion. They call it a collision of the galaxies for some reason
