"Weight doesn't matter as much as you think it does"

Ever heard of a little car called the Shelby Cobra, tiny ass car orignally a 6 clyinder AC ACE now packing a 427 V8 weighing 2340 pounds that produced 0-60 in 4.2 seconds 165 mph top speed in 1964

Miatas are a little underpowered but with some mods to the motor and some weight stripping they kick ass

    sorry internet was down.

210 rwhp i have about 230 to the crank. 290 to the wheels.

i have a v6 because it was my friends old car and bought it off him cheap. I WIL NOT PUT A WINDSOR IN THIS CAR!!!! lol. the only engines i considered are

a.) 4.5 SVO V6 (extremely rare and expensive)
b.) 5.0 V8 (one i a thousand but cheap to mod and repair)
c.) Terminator Shortblock (expensive and really really dangerous for me to own lol)

I want a v8 and will always say v8 american muscle over anything. Its what i like lol, but the v6 can give alot more power with the right tuning. I race the Crapmaro on the 5th of june so we will see.

To Kavinsky, Im sorry i have test drove the new 5.0 v8 and yes with my foot pressed to the floor and burning rubber, i achieved an average of 22.2 MPG. at 412hp 450tq with that mileage, im down lol.

The v6 can not make a lot more power. They are not good for tuning. Also the 5.0 IS A WINDSOR!!!!

Unless you mean the new 5.0

FYI the Winsor 302 was put out of production in 1995 after 30 years of use.

I stand corrected about the new 5.0 mustang, turn's out its got 3:15 gears on it which explains the unusually good gas mileage.

If it had 4:11's I would be right about it though.

Personally after seeing this I dont think I'd ever buy any old v8 till the suspension was overhauled by hotchkis and I had all around modern disc brakes put on it.

hence why I'm so keen on the ur quattro, it does everything a stock muscle car from that period can't.

Well rule number one is don't buy a car thats going to take alot of work to fix it and rule number 2 always go to a specialist for parts not the manufacturer otherwise it's going to be fucking expensive.

and that applies to everything, hopefully with the popularity of Ashes To Ashes the market for making replacement parts for the ur quattro will bloom and more places will start to stock parts for them or create'em like the 60's and 70's muscle cars of now.

For me the ur quattro is pretty much everything I'm looking for: 4 seats, good trunkspace, good visibilty, handles, stops, is well built, reliabile, fast and not too conspicuous in a dark color.

I mean if you dont know what it is you wouldn't bat an eye at it, unless the turbo kicked in right next to you

FYI personally I'm not really an audi guy save for this one car.
