I played the game for about a month, and all of a sudden Black Ops got banned (everything else works). People are so fickle with other people, who do better then them. So fickle, that they report people who don't deserve it. I contacted steam about it, and they told me it was a done deal. So I can't play Black Ops multiplayer anymore. Never really wanted to anyways, that game is really full of hackers and hell. If I get a back hand because they are trying to ban everyone they come intact with. Then the game isn't for me, and thats obvious.

You can ask anyone who plays that game (black ops), that game is full of shit (PC=Hacker Problem). I played it on my cousin's playstation 3 and there seems to be some hackers but not as many or not quite as possible. Console systems are harder to get hacks. Not only that, a lot of people would rather not have their whole system blocked from the company.

Please do your research again Mikey and wait till I log onto my account. Yes, Black Ops was banned but it was for upserd reasons. One even I can't answer.

Btw...check the bottom of my page, I put a response on recommendations towards black ops.

One more thing...I have two more accounts without black ops on them, and they were never banned. Try the account I'm playing with now, and if need be. I will give you the other one and you can do research on that. Both of those aren't VACbanned in anyway and they don't have Black Ops on it.

What is VAC?

If a user connects to a VAC-Secured server from a computer with identifiable cheats installed, the VAC system will ban the user from playing on VAC-Secured servers in the future.

While server admins may choose to ban specific players, server admins cannot VAC ban players. The VAC system is automated - contacting Steam Support to report cheaters is not necessary, nor will Steam Support act on any information provided.

The VAC system reliably detects cheats using their cheat signatures. Any third-party modification to a game designed to give one player an advantage over another is classified as a cheat or hack and will trigger a VAC ban. This includes modifications to a game's core executable files and dynamic link libraries.

The following will not trigger a VAC ban:

-Using chat programs like X-Fire
-System hardware configurations
-Updated system drivers, such as video card drivers

Use only trusted machines to play on VAC-Secured servers - if you are not sure whether or not the machine you are using to connect to Steam may have cheats installed, do not play on VAC-Secured servers.

Use caution when installing any game modifications, such as scripts or custom skins. Only download custom content from trusted sources. Hackers sometimes maliciously disguise their cheats to cause others to get banned.

What this means for everyone is that it scans your computer for cheats, illegal third-party programs, or modifications to a game (mods to a game's core, for instance), and bans players who use them permanently.

What this means for you is that you had illegal third-party programs, cheats, or something that provides an unfair advantage over another. VAC bans are across all VAC enabled games, and VAC will ban you permanently, without compromise, and without the ability to appeal for said ban being lifted. Only MWF2 pertains only to MWF2- not Black Ops. Your VAC ban on Black Ops transfers to every game on that account.

What that means for us is "Forgot Password" means "Yeah, that account is VAC banned and I'm trying to use lengthy posts and crappy excuses to avoid that ban transferring to other accounts."

We've banned people before on IBIS for cheating, or utilizing hacks on past accounts. I don't see you as an exception to this precedent.

Additionally this means that no matter how many people "report" you, unless the VAC system catches you red handed, you won't be banned. It's truly as simple as that.

I guess you forgot this as well.. I altered my configuration, and even a site said, that doing so might get you banned. I lowered my graphics lower then what the game allowed and I got banned for it. So your assumptions, are again not justifiable.

I did alter the console settings, by tweaking graphics lower then what was registured/allowed by steam (I assume). Nothing less, nothing more. My computer is good enough to run CSS, with console tweaks, but even Black Ops gave me a problem. I will except that and again. If a game is willing to ban me for reasons that have no real grounds, and I'm playing legit. SO be it, the game wasn't worth playing anyways.

Btw... Black Ops vacban, is a Black Ops only ban. Why or how should I know?? Because, ITS BANNED. -_-
All the other games are playable and steam hasn't bothered me anymore, with the whole ordeal.

it started with my apparent abuse as an admin to a "stfu mickey you were vac banned" discussion right around the point where zero stated he was vac banned.

but it originally being a post about my abuse as an admin id assume it would be "proper" for me to defend myself regardless if the convo has changed.


In my defense to his claim of me abusing my admin powers.
i have not abused admin privileges. i have never even used admin commands when mickey was on the server except ONE time. This time being when he, after several previous warnings, warded the hostie site as a CT. I banned him for 5 min and he was aware of his wrong doing. (i will not vouch for possible vote's i may have done while in the server) i do not know about these.

Also in my own defense, i never meant to disrespect mickey at all, i may come off as a blunt opinionated person at times (thus him thinking i am out to get him?). i have on multiple occasions asked the server publicly wth mickeys was talking about because he will start talking about random things midst others conversations, with what he has to say being irrelevant to the current conversation at hand.

with this said i never ONCE targeted mickey as a less honorable player then others. To be honest... this thread probably wouldn't exist if it wasnt for him posting in a current ban thread for konvert saying things like "im going to personally make sure this guy is steam banned" and "my ingame name at the time was Konn" which is funny because shortly after if i am not mistaken was when he was vac banned.

to put it for you easy.. think of us admins as police officers, clan members as chief deputys, ZERO as the Cheif and VACBANS as the federal Gov justice office.

you were vac banned... you appealed to your vac ban, you will get vac banned again if i see you in our community's servers again. after that you will never be getting an appeal.

to top it off, you lied to us saying you were not vac banned to try and sugar coat your situation. you being a so called "soldier" which i also think is BS ... looked you up. makes you a HORRIBLE SOLDIER.. whom has 0 integrity as a civlian/soldier. To me that makes it even easier to make sure you never see the light of steam days again.

apart from the amount of proof we have and your behavior here on the forums with the lack of proof regarding my "admin abuse" i would safely state i did not abuse my admin which would in-turn infringe on your right as a player in our servers and that you are a player no one in the STEAM community should trust.
