Actually the unconnected thing is no longer allowed, I will update the actually rules list to make this clear. Apparently the actual problem is that multiple people will come in with that name and then one or two of them will start to mic spam. Without the ability to identify them it gets hard to punish the correct person. Unconnected people must change there name. It is not a default name, these people are choosing to have it. In addition it seems that there is a run of people using this name to cause confusion and therefore it is likely that anyone connecting with this name is probably out to try to pull something. Therefore admins should request them to change there name and punish them only if they persist.

And if there is more then one unnamed comes in, the 2nd one gets an (1) beside his name, its not that hard to find out which is doing it.

Either way, they need to get a name. It's been a rule for as long as I can remember even if not written down and I know that Zero himself enforces it. Unconnected can list the same name over and over with no nubers added.

Unnamed and unconnected are two different stories.

Unnamed's are the new to CSS personnel, that don't have a name/don't know how to have a name.

Unconnected's are personnel that don't have a name that shows up in ma_users, but they have a Steam ID and are connected to the server for one purpose. Maliciously antagonize server users. (i.e. mic spam, etc).

I won't get into the Mario Escape drama, or Admin's using their powers when people do stupid things, because both are reliably annoying and impossible to fix.

I do want to make a comment about young players like Jojo. We get a lot of 10-14 year olds and I'd like to think with mature admins online the IBIS servers would be a better place for them to play than elsewhere. We've had regular's cousins, siblings, etc. play and everything is fine. I don't see why we're harping on just Jojo. Plenty of players come online and get into hissy fits (young and old, perhaps more old than young), is she being singled out because she's young and female? Why aren't we complaining about some of the young males that shriek and cuss their heads off? Why aren't we complaining about me going falsetto and yelping as I get overwhelmed?

Most of the time the arguments begin when someone is making fun of her for being a girl. As far as I'm concerned this is more troubling than complaints about Jojo.

I don't mind playing with kids and I don't see why we need to automatically mute them only because their voice isn't gruff and manly.

If that's the only kind of voice you feel comfortable hanging out around then perhaps you should get out more and stop picking on these poor kids who are on to have fun too.

The reason we dont bitch about 12 year old little boys is because they get Muted without question. No one bitches its not fair when its a guy with a high pitched voice...

I dont get why Jojo gets special treatment from some admins or why the hell you people think what she does is funny or acceptable. She's been warned so many times...

I get shes little but kids can fucking learn right and wrong... she knows what she is doing is wrong and does it anyways... cause some of you guys have set a trend of letting her!!!

I dont care if kids or females play counterstrike in fact I wish more females would... Ive been trying to talk my girlfriend into playing for weeks but I cant get her off Halo 3!

I bought this game as an Adult to play with other adults and in the state of Tennessee you have to be 18 and show I.D. to even purchase this game.

If I wanted to be cussed out by 12 year old little girls or boys I would go back to playing World of Warcraft.
