i think the best use of gravity can be with the consent of the players. after all, it's them playing, and they outnumber me. having admin is only fun if their experience in the server is better, or at least not worse, because of me or other admins.

if we want to be strict and to the point about it, no, we don't need the means to set gravity. obviously, evil went a little overboard, lol...and restricting to upper level and clan could also work.

but as i said earlier, we successfully used it in gungame without problems, and when players protested, I immediately restored the normal level. used in that fashion, i think it's cool and can be useful for fun servers. out of hand, like some people (lol evil ) it gets crazy. hehe.

Possibly. BUT if you want to have fun by jeopardizing the server stability, then you should not have admin. (No, cabaret for naked strippers doesn't count).

I asked you if you did it in ZM yesterday too Evil (When me and you were the only admins on.) and you just ignored me, which in then caused me to restart the map 3 times looking for a glitch in case some coding was messed up after Zero just got done with the rcon link.... The gravity RCON is not a damn toy. It has been know many times to cause physics / prop errors.

Rarely after certain maps (deathstar) gravity does screw up on ZM, so it is kind of needed.

Or.... remove the function from abusing admins atm. It will take less of Zero's time and decent admins can still use it if needed.

Later on Zero can just give it to high ranking admins?

I would suggest the same with parachutes, they can be nasty also...

And Evil, that's what voting is for. I know I was pissed yesterday after just building my cade near CT spawn in highschool and jumped and dropped dead without know shit going on. That spot is a bitch to set with the spawn time and idiots running by.

I didn't see any messages towards me. Sorry for not replying. Also, I never knew gravity can mess up the servers, I have never seen the server get really messed up because of that.

fucking with the gravity has ALWAYS been a no no in this community. it fucks the stability of the server, can crash it and pisses the masses off. most people who play on our servers play seriously and care about their physco stats and server rank. when you change the gravity you completely fuck with everyone. there's literally no reason any 1 should be fucking with it. admin commands are there 2 help you administrate the server, not for you 2 play with cause you're bored or excited.
