I am well aware of how to counter it, but, with how retarded source hitboxes are, that doesn't actually work that well.

Only one person so far got what I was trying to say. Try to understand as I am not complaining about back knifing as much as I want to just have proper knife fights. I don't want to have to strafe around them to get them to fight be normally, I want to fight them normally from the second both of the parties accept.

i have to say the hitboxes are crazy too. i never knife thru the back shit and never run thru someone on purpose not that i cant do it, i just prefer not bein able to run thru someone. most times when i do get back knifed im facing the person. If you play here alot u know most ppl try to stab me by runing thru and tryin to get by back, b/c they cannot get me any other way unless there are more then 1. I say bring back the old way.

i sensed a disturbance in the force when someone mentionned that they were annoyed at back knifers.
As an experienced back knifer (honestly, only a few can ever out-back-knife me in my prime days when i had a decent gaming pc..) i can tell you that you CAN avoid a back knife by dancing around.
if you are too foolish to run STRAIGHT at a backknifer, then you simply SUCK at it. Specially if you dont have the speed and timing for a proper pre-knife kill.
i taught almost 20 people how to pull off back knives in less than 10 minutes, u can ask speaker of the dead, pandaboy, SHADY VIRUS (ok honestly im not sure who taught who on this one:P) etc... and most of them can pull off an even better knife fight than me and most people....

either LEARN how to do it BETTER than those who stab you, and stop bitching about it , or learn to avoid them or do the old taunt+distract+GOTCHA BITCH manoeuver... and then stop bitching about it ...
so the only solid advice i can say is STOP BITCHING ABOUT IT... lol...

geezus back in the days i would have been mad raging on you in game just for even questioning the knifing technique!:P

Can you enable no block to only work on your team mates? that would solve a handful of problems at once.

Once again, the point of this thread is not to whine about back knifing, but a request to have "proper" knife fights.

Also, pretty sure anyone who has actually played with me can vouch for me that I have no problems pulling off back knives.

I would love it if no block was turned off for knife fights. I think it's so cheap when people do it...
