Call of Duty 1 Tournament
Yo my old cal team reformed last week and we decided to host a CoD1 tournament called Bring It Back. There are tentative plans for 5v5 source and 3v3 iceworld (seriously) tourneys as well.
Posting this as an invitation for anyone who plays (or used to play) CoD1 that there's still a competitive community and this thing is going to be a blast.

We might branch out into CoD2, right now we're just beginning to test the waters in CoD4/CSS since those games are still pretty alive, but CoD2 is believe it or not more dead than CoD1. From a competitive standpoint, that is.
The only people that still play CoD2 sit in #codinvite and post for 2v2 hq scrims all day. The game is dead. We all still like CoD2's more "loose" gameplay feel (being able to scope while jumping, harder set nades, and easier hipfire) but its more of a pub and unwind feel than the crisp professional feel of 1.6 and CoD1.
