It would appear that it does not matter that the sopa and pipa bills have been shelved for the fbi seems to be going after other file sharing sites. It hard to protest more when a protest starts out so lethargically behind a computer screen. No matter how many words you type on a forum, b log, or news article the importance of these messages will not be the same tell someone stands up and vocalizes it. Its a shame that laws like these have stemmed now to Canada, creating talk about re writing there C-11 bill.

I might post the following in a new thread due to its importence.

    The Black March

    3,1,2012 to 3,31,2012

Join the black march by boycotting those large corporations distribution. Do not purchase a movie, movie ticket, album Ect. From any company advocating and or lobbying for the following bills: sopa, pipa, acta. The goal here is to send a very solid message to the corporations that what they are lobbying for is not wanted by the people. Though we have defeated sopa dj pipa for now, you and me both know they will continue with legislation. Instead of trying to abolish it let's use the leverage we gain from this boycott to come to an aggrement in regards to alternative solutions to stoping online piracy that does not effect the rights of the people or the internet. Offer suggestions like alternitve ways to purchase there content in a more speedy way, reduction in prices ect. Attempting to abolish this legislation will result in a never ending battle and we should do our best to let the corporations know we enjoy there content but not at there price and surly not at the cost of our freedoms.

    The battle continues:

Investigate Chris Dodd and the MPAA for bribery after he publicly admitted to bribing politicians to pass legislation.

btw, im not too experienced when it comes down to known underground hackers:
Does Anonymous or any other brotherhood have the ability, knowledge and resources to bring down a government? Specifically the US gov if sopa should remain ... ?
Started from bottom. Now we here. <IBIS>

Fighting legislation like this with cyber attacks like that is the wrong way. We have been successful thus far by honestly protesting these bills, by following threw our political chains and starting petitions that get looked at by our government. Groups like anon will only hurt the people advocating against these bills and bills like the global ACTA and the Canadian version of SOPA, C-11.

    his title was misleading...
reading the first 2 paragraphs i was like " fuck u, u ignorant. fuck u AND the sopa."

After that , i noticed the sarcastic tone of his, and i approve this message... Although, do you really think he can get around 10 mil ppl boycotting for the cause? ...
Fuck this, until a version of SOPA passes, im gonna abuse the living crap out of the "free shit " on the internet, without giving those fuckers a single dime in purchases...

......why don't you use your time to stop sopas sister bill in Canada. Seeing as how you won't have the corprate help we had it would behoove you to at least know about Canadian legislation.... Read up on your c-11 bill about to pass. Same fucking thing as sopa.

Menu you are wrong. Protests prove to be very powerful when millions of.people become.unified over one issue and demand resonable alternatives for a solution.

For example our most recent protest against sopa pipa. It has proven successful thus far. How about eygpt last year? Or the American civil rights movement.
