    maynard <ibis>: they are awkward and last 2 damn long. I prefer thinner smaller ones

    I wonder if there's a way to disable pictures from showing up in your browser window? Any one know? That might just fix your issue.

    Yes there is. Google the firefox addon.

    adblock plus for chrome or firefox handles this issue. right click the picture > block element.
