The main reason I hated poolday myself was because of the spawn killing, which I have solved with the layout here, preventing any direct line of sight between the spawns. Putting an arbitrary wall over the middle of the pool doesn't really make any logical sense.

No it's a good map I think it would be an awesome addition to the server because as you said it solves the problem of spawn killing that doesn't do any one any good(if you killing somone in the beginning of the round you don't gain a level) and It's practically the same map just with a few added walls so it would be good in my book
