For the goal only start at 7:20. but it's more than just the goal itself, it's what it meant for the country to beat the cheating Russians, who said they were better than everyone.

after doing some digging, i found this: the game was basically russion professionals against the nhl all stars. yes, the canadian team won, but you could expect a pretty damn nice battle from those guys. the 1960 and 1980 usa olympic teams were comprised of amateurs (college guys) and played against the soviet professionals, so i kinda don't see how that goal is the "greatest goal in sports."


not to mention it's hockey. nobody cares about hockey.
