derp #2, i made my schedule such that i don't have any classes on fridays again...so i just drove 8 hours to dallas to sit on my ass for 4 days in a tiny dorm room. because i didn't check my schedule before i left.

And if attendance is strictly mandatory, then that means the professor is not confident enough in his own material to rely on reeling in students...
