derp #2, i made my schedule such that i don't have any classes on fridays again...so i just drove 8 hours to dallas to sit on my ass for 4 days in a tiny dorm room. because i didn't check my schedule before i left.

I'm saying that usually you can do better with your time by studying superfat at your own time than get stuck at other people's pace... And if attendance is strictly mandatory, then that means the professor is not confident enough in his own material to rely on reeling in students...
Thank god universities here don't have a 100% mandatory attendance, and let you study at ur own pace
