The point of our own server is to help ensure that people won't ruin our stuff when we are away. We should be able to build things without the fear of them getting ruined, large or not.

I have enjoyed playing the MC server and the WCS server, and the IBIS clan as a whole since i've been a part of it. I am hoping to be able to join the MC whitelist to be able to play with the others. I will take almost any compromise necessary to become a part of it.

the gd news is : i finally found the reason as to why my house is being drastically invaded by 7+ zombies and skeletons at a time!

the bas news is... i got TWO fucking mob spawners in my fricken house!!!!

shit's insane, spent 30 minutes just now barricading myself near a spawner with nthn but a hole to create lava showers from to kill the damn zombies....
but the spawner is spawning them at a rate of 2 per 30 seconds!??? its insane...i just died... and im too affraid to go back there :S...

and god am scared to enter my own room now... i mean in real life :S shit makes u panaroid. lol

im at the point where i'd be driving on a poorly litten road, and think that zombies will pop out bcos of poor community lighting lol... and sometimes i feel like smashing through walls instead of having to walk aroudn a building!! minecraft does wonders on ur brain!

Spawners are one of the best things to find in a cave, right up there with diamonds. Sheesh, build a water trap and reap the benefits. Spawners are so easy to control and it's free items, you literally get stuff for doing nothing.

I know I dug out a pretty extensive cave system down there but last I knew they weren't connected anyones by christmas and in only one spot(that I know off) maybe I'll play around down there and see if cyber connected up with mine some how.

We've asked around, no one knows who it belongs to, and it's been empty for quite sometime.

It's like another Taz creation, built then abandoned.

It's ugly and is an eyesore.

We've started with TNT and it's half gone...we don't want to lag the server which is why we're taking our time.

If anyone lays claim to it, and wants it to stay, then we will gladly fix it.

If no one comes forward, it will be gone by the end of this day.

like a SHITLOAD of obsedian who accumulate to at least 8 lava pools...

that said, a cave i had entended to an island that has a mario on it.
i got attacked by a shitload of mobs and i ended up hiding in a cobbleston shed, that had a few boxes full of NETHERRACK, glowstone dust, and other unobtainable stuff....

so yeah, if someone is spawning them, at least have the decency to confess to it and make it fair to everyone.

that said, i'll admit to spawning a diamong axe once bcos i got stuck in my endless cave and needed to dig my way up and ending up on that random island.
then again ive seen ppl spawn golden apples etc...
we all have our weak moments, but at least have a ruling about the need for those... most of us want to build stuff and tools are useful!

I spawned a joke on Anthony before, but he threw it away so that doesn't count.

I spawned 64 diamond blocks to piss him off, because we firmly believe in earning our items.

there was another admin, mag's friend, that used to spawn a shitload of stuff.
and i think blade spawned a little obsedian and netherrack.
specially near his old shop.


the stuff they found might be from leftovers of that era.
that said. i am talking to mag as we speak, to have a "Shop" that myself and another person will control, were people can access the unobtainable stuff .
bcos lets face it , a lot of ppl are in it for the buildings, and not the mining itself. or at least both, but are too busy to mine bcos of their real life like school and work and just feel like coming at night, build a couple stuff and leave..
not to mention i feel like making a netherrack castle and set it on fire lol...but thats just me
try not to kill each other guys...


there will hopefully be new rulings about spawning items since the community could use some unobtained items in game, and tools to help them work faster. if u wanna do everything manually, ur call.

pfft , his guy knight jeff joined and was "lurking around"
he griefed steamr's tunnel i think, but mainly my castle.. my castle got torn apart from the inside, it basically just became a BOX, no stairs no nthn, everything destroyed, and all my items got stolen ( a shitload amount of gold , iron and diamonds... and etc powders...)
not to mention the guy filled my castle with lava flowing from top to bottom (using buckets i had in my chest apparently...) and bursted holes in all walls and became zombie infected...not to mention he removeD almost ALLL the torches on my WHOLE island.. which is pitch black now...
steamr helped me clean up.. spercially my underground again... and then i went to help toasties build this tower of hers, which became a team effort of 4.
still to be updated it.
ps: i am spawning some material when we are on top bcos all my stuff are gone...and i really wanted to help build this , specially bcos its a team thing, and will be expended for the community.

the black screen is when minecraft is requiring more ram than it is allowed to (yes its a java memory leak problem ) and ur computer basically is not allowing it to have more ram than allowed.
i heard there is a fix to it, just google smthn like ;
allocate more memory to minecraft
and u should find smthn to help...

It's because you cap the Java failsafe. It will allocate more as you go but Java VM will only allow so much to allocate as a failsafe (1gig x86, 2gig x64). Set your max and min.

Install 64 bit Java if you are on a 64 bit machine. Default Java install is x86 not matter your system.

Running as jar not exe. "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xmx2048M -Xms512M -jar "D:\Games\Minecraft.jar" <--My setup (64 bit), use your own paths. Just an example.

Just remember doing this will FORCE your system to allocate at least your min amount to Java and WILL not free it up for other use until the java app is closed. Perfectly fine if you have it to spare.

Win 7 allocates the RAM usage very well (Just make sure you have the correct version of Java instaled). This may help people running Windows XP or Linux.

Atm my Minecraft.exe is currently eating 661 with spikes of 900 MB of RAM with a 50 MB min start up.

Those are unloaded chunks, and the solution to those are either avoiding the hole, or rejoining.

maybe a glich but the thing that i have noticed that is a glich is when you run into a block that has lava on other side you can catch fire which pisses me off
