well i did the math, and it would be a gamble by nem, but would still provide the possibility for success, since it could be 3 town 3 anti town next day, Nem would be on the block, gets lynched, then 3 town 2 anti, one is an arsonist one is a mafia, so then you could start final day as 1 town, 1 mafia, 1 arsonist, with the town losing no matter what, but a possible push between the other two.

in fact. if nem is lying about mikey, then that would mean he's either mafia or anti town...
and for once? the other party (mafia or arsenist, which ever nemesis doesn't belong to) would actually support us in lynching nem since he would be a problem to him

You can't be that dumb, the implications are obvious, and I already outlined what he is doing if he is lying, the game wont end today, but the difficulty level will shift dramatically based on our decision.

The text from the scene does not seem to imply that, it seems to imply that his thing didn't go off, and why would chikun basically go out of his way to protect mikey? Thats like giving a police escort to the short bus rather than the popemobile.

Considering some of the specific events that happened last game, this seems alot more likely compared to them.

And yeah, it will suck if mikey turns out to be town and then Nem can blame it on bus driver, but that is a real worst case scenario right there.

Cause an anti town rape is not as big a threat as the arsonist or mafia with an ability such as kill or frame.

also at this point the mafia has an interest in killing the arsonist and vica versa.
