If rape is telling the truth, and he is just a shitty lead weight on the town, that would immediately mean that the 3 suspects are all bad guys, and hence we cant miss.
We kill one of those guys now, if it turns up innocent, we know for a fact that the other 2 and rape are bad guys, if we hit a bad guy, then rape isn't off the hook yet.
Also, if we lynch scribble or brett and it turns out to be a mafia, we now know the other has to be the arsonist. So yeah, by the end of the day, and certainly by the end of the night, we will know who is who.
