very good game!
lmao... sorry for being afk o.o only a couple more days of this crap!
Personal reform
Well that was unexpected, and pretty weird. I go out to get dinner and everyone's dead. Woo.
I hit Brett right in the feels.
Can't I'm going to be in Turkey for over a month starting monday. Unsure at this point if I will have any internet and even if I do I wouldn't be able to be around much.
I hit Brett right in the feels.
I was really looking forward to day 3 too. Ah well, good game
BTW, if I was acting strange the first couple days? It's because what I said was true. My brother's wedding was over the weekend. It won out over a silly game. I was only on when I was in my hotel room killing time.
Second, I'd decided day one that my role was going to play the Primape role. I'd had the role of "Pidgeot, Busser" in case that role became untenable, but the night scene pretty much removed need for him. Oh, and that role? Not something I made up on the fly, or even created myself. I've played that exact role before. But the entire day game, I was playing as if I was exactly the role I stated. Given Scribble and I really didn't say much to each other, it was a really easy plan. I've looked through my posts, and do believe this would have been my game had I actually been the role I claimed. I also believe, other than insults said about What, I didn't lie that game, if I'd been my primeape
The time I questioned Scribble was about the only thing I'd have done differently as town. I was trying to get him to shut up about trainers, so that if I died first, people didn't look at that and say "oh, look, one trainer, who was mafia, now who was asking about trainers again?".
Now for some comments on people:
What: My dismissal of Mass was really all in your mind :P I really was just disagreeing with your assessment of his playstyle, not trying to clear him. I also did distrust your cop claim. Not pikachu, I'd actually figured THAT was true. Given how hard you were pushing me, I was thinking that there was a lyncher who had to get the godfather lynched. Pikachu being required to take out team rocket even made sense from a flavour standpoint. That, and you had actually pulled some fairly scummy moves throughout the game. While I knew you weren't mafia, lyncher cares not for the town.
Mikey: After seeing the role Taz had, I understand your day 1 play. Disagree with how you played it, but understand the play.
Taz: That role sucked. Thanks for playing
Wolf: Nicely shot.
Nem: You were way to nice. Stop that.
Mass: ...Isn't it a bear to try and play a game while busy?
Brett: Similar to Mass, however, you don't know how much you annoyed me, not making a decision on which one of us to vote on. Kept having hope I might survive in the end. I hope you have more time to play next time, thanks for filling in for Chikun.
Scribble: After that day report, I was wishing we had some way for you to signal who you shot. Beyond that, and the trainer problem, it was fun to watch your game.
Blade: I feel you're a little too jaded about information.
Actually, that's another thing. The information from this group is odd. Day "0" gave us a quickly unanimous required lynch, which basically turned Mikey into an Innocent Child, and a cop headstart. Day One had both our cop and doctor claim.
Ok, between 3 games, I've been shot in all 3, by 5 different people, one of whom shot me twice. I love you all too! I may need to request bulletproof more often.
Cyber: IMO, in this game, Taz's role SUCKED HARD. Whoever got it knew they had to be lynched. Their ally did too. His death means we get a clear, and a free night for an additional investigation. His non-death means he might die at night. With 3 night kills, it's not hard to accidentally get offed. If he survives to day 2, after seeing 3 attacks, hopefully his partner is still alive so they can get him lynched then. If his ally is dead, he'd end up looking like a jester, and if someone decides to shoot him because they figure no one will protect him, he's screwed the town. As a non-mason, it's probably worse, because you have no one to back you up and still run into the jester issue, and your death isn't even as useful for the town, as you don't give a clear. Almost sounds more scum like, if you want a scum with a negative modifier, virgin in this case. Heh, beloved princess scum. AKA: the minesweeper!
Beyond that, I think Nem was weak. With the town having a free round for investigation, him having two people able to shoot at him, a day kill that can kill him, and a bomb that can accidentally nuke him, two enemies he can't kill through shooting, I see a VERY low win rate for him.
The town and mafia, however, looks fairly balanced. I think Scrib could have used a single protection of some sort, for similar reasons to Nem. Pretty much anything, lynch, bullet, death or even some sort of investigation immunity.
I do disagree on that out on Taz, supposing both of the masons see the ramifications of that role. I hope, more often than what happened in this game, this would be a more common way Day 1 plays out. Tree: Princess needs to die today. He will confirm. Princess: confirmed. If pushed: claim mason, and claim that death at night is bad for town. Would you shoot the princess in this case? I can think of reasons to lynch that are good for the town, and many MANY ways this can reveal you're playing a bastard mod. Which is good information by itself. However, shooting him can be very risky. One is similar to the problem we would have had in this game. If death is triggered by time of day, you're killing someone who was about to be lynched for no profit. In this case, you'd be giving them two free days, removing your only free kill, rather than losing a single night.
