admin abusing

i did a quick search on their sourcebans and it doesn't look like they did. they also don't have legit forums it seems, just a steam community page. so cyber could check on that maybe.

pm'd the guy who made that thread informing him of what happened. They have been notified of the abuser and been told to refresh the list IF they pulled our bans in the last few days.

He hasn't responded yet, but i will keep you guys updated.


highly unlikely that they pulled the bans within those 2 hours of scripted bans while we were unbanning... but you know... I DID get banned from there bcos of rape's 5 minute speedhacks ban -.- .... so yeah, you guys are probably luckier than me...

Well they only pull permas from what I know, so we should be fine, but no one answered the question I had, can admins pull a certain stunt to ban him if he comes in, even though its officially against the rules?

only ula or clan can ban another admin and i think they HAVE to talked to zero and get his concent first but if your just a reg admin you need to get an ula immediately if something like this evers happens again.

- maybe zero and ula can have a meeting or something and talk about banning an admin without concent from zero or having a big discussion first, of an admin already on probation for abuse and /or ban an admin, that when ip is traced and its beachbum / PPTechVet etc, can be banned immediately and not ruin anymore player's game experience and ban record.... just a thought

no.

zero is the only one (maybe jig can too) who can remove/add admins. ppt was banned almost immediately but then he began using the sourcebans website instead, which admins/ula/clan do not and can not have the access to remove.

Honestly, if I was still an admin, I would find it much quicker to take care of a mass banning admin myself, and then report it to ula/clan. I know you are supposed to talk to them, but the faster you react to this sort of situation the better. I know were are not supposed to. This really only applies to the few of us that know some tricks. I dont have every clan in my friends list, and ULAs are not on 24/7 If I can take care of it in <1min instead of waiting 5, then all the better.
Can a banned admin still ban in source bans? cause that would be a large problem.

regulars admins have immunity from eachother. It's simply how it's coded.
besides, if you are vouching for admins not having immunity from eachother, so that u can ban them, then you are basically vouching that ppt or beachbum just buys an admin account, join the server, BAN THE ADMINS directly from the game, and proceed to chill there while u aint got a chance to know what happened...

that being said, the problem is that in web panel, any admin can perform a ban on anyone... even a superior... and yes, even if the banning admin himself is banned (exactly what happened with ppt after he got banned by phil)
and that's bcos sourcebans won't allow zero to make certain modifications.

also, for the record, other than the fact that clan can do wtvr the fuck it wants in handling the situation (IF they have coded access), the ULAs too are given instructions by clan to immediately take care of this kind of situation until clan is involved (such as phil banning ppt for a month before clan/zero showed up).
We already have that permission beforehand, what no-one (except zero) has access to, is removing someone's admin...


HMM,,, i know for a fact that jigsaw and maynard have forum-banning access, i wonder if someone got banned from the forum, will it ban their steam id access on sourcebans as if their admin got temporary disabled?? ZERO?

I know admins have immunity to each other, and you even mentioned the loophole...And no that loophole does not let me ban superiors.
