well nem does say directly to mut "being a nigger is not acceptable" and "you just need every opportunity to be a nigger", so while he doesn't directly say "YOU ARE A NIGGER" it's pretty obvious and it is directed at one person, and this sort of grey area isn't something i want people exploiting all the time. using a more passive verbiage doesn't constitute making it legal in my book. i support the original ban.

The only way to get rid of the grey area is to make it so either no racism is allowed period (nazi) or make it allowed and have those offended mute the person they are offended by. We are all adults here (mostly) we are old enough to learn to ignore other we get butt hurt by. I would think it best to rid of the racism rule and disrespect rule. Instead have the admin just tell people to mute.

The reason they invented ignoring / muting is so you don't have to put up with somebody over the internet. Though, there's multiple reasons why somebody doesn't get around to doing so on CSS. They never had to use it. They don't know where it is. Laziness. Abusing the microphone icon that displays over your head every time you key your mic.
Though - as much as I want to say it, we SHOULDN'T have the need to mute people through the player list. Feel free to say whatever you want, but if somebody doesn't like it, they are gonna say something about it. And if they have the power you don't, expect to be muted if they don't like it either. That's my view on it.

wont unban for the provided quotes that were said in demo, exactly for the reason brett stated. If you can't figure out how we go about racism in the community.. simply don't be racist, or make racist remarks...
I would suggest not doing it anymore, as if you keep getting banned, the length will only increase and you have quite a few bans already.
