Thread: Euronews admin abus

Never trust the ingame download indicator. It will be downloading and not move at all. This is very common. Some maps are very very large like 500MB compressed and can take a few min for you to download and then decompress. The only solution I have found is to monitor your computers bandwidth usage on a secondary monitor. You can tell from that if the files are downloading and if you monitor cpu usage you can see when the decompression stage starts and finishes. That is really the only way to monitor downloads in css.

Unfortunately, the poor programing tricks many users into thinking that their files are not downloading or that it is locked up b/c the bar does not move. Please be sure to tell others that if they see this issue it is working it is just that the download status indicator never works correctly.

wow thought we were done with this and came to a understanding but if you want to put it into terms.
    1. what I was slayed for has never been a problem before even with Zero in the server with us and several other admins without warning to give me a option.
    2. this rule that's supposedly had been around forever seem for also this whole time been left out of the rules.
    3. when everyone else was ready to put this squabble behind them you had to keep pushing the blame on someone else cause god forbid the admins be hilariously wrong by having there own set down rules shoved in there face.
    4. yes its my fault I felt like making it hard for zombies to get a win and was properly slayed for it talk about justice.
    5. we are not here to investigate me....we are here cause I reported admin abuse and I expect it to be taken seriously. Not act like a bunch of children pointing fingers at each other to place fault on someone.

if you want to continue fine but that's your choice.

Mages, that rule was to both encompass the hanging back to free kills and doing the objective. You were not doing the objective and was hiding thus prolonging the round. I would have done the same thing as well as the rest of the admins. If you were doing an epic run, this would have been different.

Not doing the objective is in the rules and it was meant to be interpreted as such. Plus its common sense and I shouldn't have to write every little thing down but yet I still find myself doing so. I think that's why the rule got reworded a while ago because "it didn't specifically say it word for word" on another issue. I forget what that issue was but I'll expect it to come back up someday.

The rule has also been reverted back to its original text.

During escape maps, humans must leave the spawn area and complete the map objective. Humans that stay in spawn with the intent on killing the first zombie is prohibited.

I think anex said he would've slayed you and moved on with life just like Euronews ... unless you're telling me i'm somehow reading this wrong?

    Guys...
As much as these threads can be utterly hilarious as fuck (we sure had a few laughs in here),
but this is the admin abuse section, and unless each one of you is a party INVOLVED in the alleged abuse of admin command/position towards the original poster, then please stay out of it and let clan (who have already shown involvement in this thread) handle this without the need to clutter their feeds?

Come to think of it, I didn't even wanna post THIS comment, but yeah, we need to stop making a habit out of this.
    please and thank you
