“You guys couldn’t hit the water if you fell out of the boat, maybe this can finally give you some clarity.”
“But isn’t there some other way?”
“It can’t be helped, if I need to give myself up so that you all can survive this, so be it.”
And with that, Rufus nobly proceeded towards the gallows, hoping beyond hope that they could pull themselves together and survive this nightmare.
