Lol pomf.
I was actually contemplating the migration of my laptop from Windows 8 to Ubuntu, because I went from 8 (OEM) to 7 Ultimate, then back to 8 because nothing functioned properly. Now I can't find OEM drivers, and there are no manufacturer builds of them either. Can't even install my graphics card (dedicated) because the card apparently doesn't even exist, and is strictly OEM.
Maybe I'll see what Windows 10 can whip up on it.
use arch it's not a botnet and respects your freedoms

I just got aids from Windows 10.
Just read this today:
Since launching nine days ago Windows Update has sent out an unstable graphics driver which switched off monitors, a buggy security patch which corrupted Windows Explorer and there are now widespread reports that a third update is causing Window 10 machines to crash over and over again…
Any updates?
I have had none of those issues, and I installed it on a computer with a fermi gpu, dual core dimondville atom(I think it is... I dont use it) and its integrated gpu..... And an llano a6.
I crashed explorer once, dont think they had to do with a security patch. crasing explorer has always been a minimal issue anyways since I just use run to start explorer.exe
Homegroup has been interesting for me, My education copy, or rather the school I tied it to wont allow other computers to see my homegroup files, just let me see the others. :/ I could just change to pro though and fix that I suppose.
Running great on one of the laptops. Much preferred over 8.1. I also disabled auto update at install.
Make all your last demands for I will forsake you and I'll meet your eyes for the very first time, for the very last.
maynard <ibis>: they are awkward and last 2 damn long. I prefer thinner smaller ones
