So a few things.

Both Joker and Phil have been playing incredibly stupid. I can not think that is simply a case of being new or really that dumb. Pretty much mafia 101, the people who act stupid like they have no idea what is going on and keep suggesting terrible things are almost always mafia, or Mikey. That being said, on Assassin.

Day 1 he was a suspect for me, the way he was acting, but he is not, from all I have seen, particularly good at this game. Nem did not come after him initially, Assassin came at Nem, trying to take the high ground as Nem is a complete ass, and Nem responded in kind. Now, Assassin claimed waaaaaay tooo early, which could be a last ditch effort of, "well I'm boned lets see if I can help out the mafia." That being said, Roleblocker is the most basic mafia class, and I would like to think that if the Mafia attack was blocked, flavor would have hinted at something, there is not even a trace of that. The mafia attack is a mute point anyways if they attacked me. Also, Nem could be a lyncher, remember that role? good times, but Blade would be extra douchy to put that role back in play. Nem being mafia at this point makes little sense, as such a gambit would not pay dividends. Also, relatively certain it would be a 8 3 1 setup with 12 people, 2 mafia is way to low for that many people in role madness.

to add on onto the Phil argument :
if anything, if there's a mafia, that WASN't roleblocked by nemesis (aka assassin), nor denied by a doctor or bodyguard or faith healers, or dodged by commuter or hider or vest or bulletproof or other crap,
then they would have to have attacked WHAT as the serial killer.

Note:
This is under the assumption that if mafia attacked What , while What attacked the bomb, only bomb and What would die, not the mafia attacker.

There are cases where the bomb would literally take out everyone : itself, its attacker the SK, and its attacker's attackers etc, simply for all being at the same location.

I am going to ask Blade about this ruling just to be on the safe side, but the latter is usually observed more towards EpicMafia rather than mafiascum.

So again, highly more likely that mafia at least ATTEMPTED to kill someone, rather than holding their dicks around and hoping for the best.

He likely meant roleblocked. At this point, I'm not sure who to believe. I wouldn't put it past Assassin to claim Cop early day 2 under minimal pressure. I also wouldn't put it past Nemesis to have mafia no-kill in order to make it seem like a mafia roleblocker is town.

That said, there was nothing in the flavor about a roleblocked kill so this lends some credibility to Assassin's claim.

I do however think that Nem would target someone else--such as What--then Assassin. Then again, he could just be targeting him to lend credibility to his action.

If Nem is a lyncher, woo, big woop and we will all learn that that role is pretty much a go to win. But my vote is based on what I have seen, was leaning towards voting him day 1 anyways, and when your investigation is blocked, you don't get a message saying you received no results, you receive a message that your investigation failed.

I still feel like I would have been the likely target of the mafia attack last night, meaning that Ass being blocked or not does not really show us anything, but claiming cop on two votes is terrible and reeks of panic, good or bad.

Because this is strangely starting to remind me of that one time at band camp when Mikey started pulling infinite powers out of his ass.

Ok so I asked the mod.
My hypothesis above is correct about the bomb: IF the mafia tried to kill SK-WHAT, they wouldn't have died in the bomb explosion. Only the bomb and its direct attackers would get killed a-la-mafiascum, not the whole building block a-la-epicmafia.

Which introduces now the possibility that mafia could have attacked What, and succeeded anyway, but he was already kaboom'd.
Notice how the flavor didn't specifically mention that What died from the explosion only when they heard the crash.
All it said is that "there were other casualties", and that What died. It didn't specify if the bomb caused it, or someone else...

Not to mention that What is a prime target to being fucked over by night 1 as a veteran player. (pure meta here, about time I use some)

Don't take me wrong, assassin's a great candidate for a lynch... but between nem mentioning an investigation of his (sarcastically?), and added probability of the mafia not being blocked by nemesis's actions, I will need to lightly tap on them breaks in this wagon.
