Never ask the goddamn people to counter claim a cop. That shit is scummy as fuck.
The cop should remain quiet about this, and take note of the fact that IF, for whatever reason, we don't lynch assassin today, that assassin is one of the mafia people, and that the next day, he should THEN cop out all the investigations they made, while taking out assassin, thus clearing more people as opposed to copping out now for no reason rather than confirm a suspicion on assassin.

Christ I hate agreeing with Nemesis, claiming cop after BARELY prodding you is simply the worst move NA. God help me I've avoid copping out until the very last moment of L-1 to bait out as many mafia members as possible into wagoning me before the wagon is halted.
