Then how do you even begin to know the difference between a good player and a player hacking. Why do you have any say at all in this Counterstrike thread.... Grats... I rest my point.

I have played cs with nukeman for over 6 years hes not hacking just stop being mad kids.
(this thread is my goddamn business so you can just get over yourself thx.)

I know when I'm playing a game and someone is waxing me.. it might just be the fact hes better then me/you. Why ban someone that could increase your skill level by playing against him?(but that wouldn't make any sense.)

Easy Cujo...I do love the ban first ask questions later mentality though, when you people can't even interpret a demo. Real classy. Its amazing a g9 mouse and a pair of sennheisers can stir up this much controversy. I am still very entertained by the fact you think nukeman is hacking. I can't even believe a thread even started against him. Makes me jealous.

if it was ban first, ask questions later, he wouldnt even be having a chance to debate his case here. thats why there was a ban request first to see if other ppl share same feeling... its not ONE admin that said he MIGHT be hacking, its many of them who mentionned this before.
like i said the ban thread was bcos he MIGHT be hacking, he was banned to bring him out here on the forums and to see if we unban him or not. i personally dont know if he was hacking or not... i know some gd players that spot hackers, a few said he was hacking , others say no. so please, keep the attitude for urself, supernukem is having a mature discussion with us, and it is gd for him, dont sabotage his chance to get unbanned by pissing off some members here... just a thought.
he was banned for looking suspicious because of his high HS killstreak but low kdr, and irregularity. he was banned for ACTING like a toggler, or at least confusing 5 admins to a degree to think he is. once he told us the reason why he would hesitate to kill someone if not HS, it makes sense, it opens up an explanation for his actions, and now opinions shifted. please let this run smoothly and dnt try to cause a fuss around the forums.... thanks.
if higher class ppl say he aint hacking, he will be unbanned, simple. now go do smthn important in ur life.

What im trying to get across here cyber is you banned him with no "real" evidence, your demos and spectates are all biased opinions not actual facts and how many people voted against him? (runaway jury if dice was one. I rest my case cuz hes already said he doesn't care nor has ever played competitively(never played an aim map). Dont be so qucik to cry wolf.

Nukeman has been playing religiously on your server, never done anything wrong, no flaming etc. Just is a good player, I just was a lil irritated to look at the ban proposal thread and seeing what some people were saying when there is no doubt he is not hacking I don't even see where you guys got the idea. Just defending my friend's integrity.

Not trying to cause a flamewar just trying to point out the flaws in this communitys actions. "Might be hacking" doesn't seem to me like just cause to ban someone. Id rather have proof.. especially against someone that actually may possess solid gameplay that might make your community a little bit better. I just don't want to see you lose out on a player of his caliber. Thx

2 things:
1- i was once banned myself for pretexte hacking, aimbot actually, and that was on another server (forgot the name) because i just happened to have a gd day and killing 20 ppl straight headshots... i know it can be done, and i know what it would feel to supernukeman to be banned for playing the game better.
that said, i did not just ask around for a ban because of THAT day only, for me it was a lucky day to get 20 ppl straight HS, but having supernukeman do that on a daily basis... he was either TOOO good, or well, toggling.
and that is why i asked ppl around for their opinion. please bare in mind that OTHER admins and regs called hacks on him before i even formulated any opinion whatsoever.
2- again, there is nthn u can actually do now but wait like ur friend for other ppl to comment and have a verdict. i didnt ban him bcos i felt like it , trust me , banning him was the last thing i wanted to do considering he was a regular, and that is why my ban request post was LONG and showing how confused i was, instead of just saying "he hacks, banned".
so again, if its a mistake, am not higher than apologizing to the guy, i'd actually ask him to take me to those aim maps and teach me what he knows if i had the chance, but for now... lets wait.

And I'm an Audio System Tech. I don't have a 5-day 9 to 5 schedule. If a client needs me at 6am that means my ass is up at 4. Also me not being good doesn't mean I'm bad. Although, think what you want of me - I couldn't care less.

trudger, best idea for you right now is to shut up an go about your day. you attacking members of the community is certainly not going to help your buddy's case.

also, aim maps don't mean competitive play. we have many aim mas on gg for example.

... yeah but aim maps do improve reactions and accuracy, especially when played with a small group of people. When reactions/accuracy are added to a person's skill, that directly correlates to competitive play. And im not talking about those ridiculous orange aim maps, i referring to the one's like Yosh referenced 'aim_map.bsp'... just a generic flat map with some boxes.

As for the rest of Trudger's comments, its frustrating to see people get pissed off at someone just defending integrity. I find it hard to believe that any one of you wouldn't do the same for a family member/friend, and although the tact may or may not be there, the fundamental core of the argument is in the right place. The key in every aspect of working with other human beings is to not be judgmental, and try to understand what people are actually trying to convey.

Dice, when this went all down, i politely questioned the reasoning... as i read people's rebuttals/responses though, i realized there is a bit of ignorance coming from various people, especially by people that think they are 'good.' It's a very relative term... you can be 'good' amongst your friends, you can be 'good' in a specific pub, or you can be 'good' in CPL matches. In any case you are comparing yourself to something, and rating one thing against another. I by no means think I am 'good' at this game... In fact i think i'm pretty shitty. Sure i've gotten better over time, but Yosh has taught me a little bit of humility and well i think that has improved my mindset in multiple facets of life. At the same time, one of the reason's i cared about this so much was that there are a bunch of stats being saved on this server with my progression over the past month or so... i've seen substantial improvement in my play, and i had a few goals i wanted to meet before i spread my time out a little bit. But to sit here and abuse people of hacking is essentially admitting 'I am not good.' If you need to see a video of people that are ACTUALLY good, be my guest and watch the following link...

In my eyes, to get to that point, personally i must focus on aiming/HS'ing. I have the reactions (.185-.195 seconds) so thats not really my concern. I know HOW to play with an organized team (not that i would get that from a pub anyways), so all there is really left for me to do is work on accuracy. Find a good server with some good ping/reg, decent people, and some stats and i'm good to go.

If you guys don't want to lift the ban, thats fine... If you don't want talent coming into the server, helping to make everyone better... that's fine. This is the internet, everyone has something to prove, especially since they can do it behind a shroud of anonymity... but sometime's you gotta go 8-64 and realize 'Damn, i need to get the fuck over myself...' As for the dilly dally and the bickering, it's getting rather ridiculous.

If he were only defending your integrity there would be no problem in this thread. Instead, he decided to be a rude little prick and throw around insults. If this guy is your friend, I'm sorry.

But I totally agree, the bickering is pointless and shameful. I'd personally love to see this ban lifted because you seem like a level-headed dude.

The de_dust demo that I viewed doesn't really seem to show anything other than the usual hitbox lag and a couple of fortunate headshots. He wasn't doing bad, but he certainly wasn't spectacular either. That being said, what was in the demo doesn't exactly correspond with having a 1.37 KDR after 2,700 kills, unless he's suffering from some form of intermittent mental retardation.
