Thread: Future race suggestion thread

    Blood Elf
    required lvl 550 or 675
    Total Levels 20
    skills:
    -===BLOOD ELF===----------------[WCS]
    [Crimson Armor] - Gives you full armor plus (25, 50, 75, 100) at the start of the round. Reduces the chance of critical hits on you by 2% each level leveled.

    [Mana Shield] - Any damage you take from enemies, except that which would kill you, is reduced by (5%, 15%, 30% , 45%)

    [Bloodlust] - Each shot adds (4, 8, 14 or 18) damage to the enemy. Movement speed of those who attack you is reduced temporarily.

    [Blood Sense] - Has a (15%, 30%, 45%, 50%) chance to reveal all enemy players on your radar within ( 10, 20, 30, 45) feet of you.

    [[ULTIMATE-[Shadowstrike]] - Emits a powerful damaging force at an enemy in your sights which will also slow down and reveal your enemy as lvled up higher. Leveling

    increases the damage and duration of the slow and also the time it reveals players.

    [Passive skill-Blood Clone] 25% to evade knife hits and explosive damage. This percentage increase to 30% once the race is maxed out.

    [ Back Story] - It is said that the blood elf was born from the sinners that were left to die by the devil himself. Left alone to die unwatned by all, blood Elf is driven

    by its lust for blood and therefor hunting those that get with in his range. He tracks with his bloodsense and slows them down before he devour's them. A blood Elf is a

    heartless race made for killing anyone with in its range. Enemy to the other Elf's, the blood elf is a lonely and terrible creature made only for its sole purpose of

    killing anyone in its path.

    This race has been one of the originals back with the 4 main races undead,human,orc,night elf, and used to have blood elf aswell. Was a pretty fun race to play.



    Goblin Thief (brand new race)
    Required lvl 600-750

    Skills:Total Levels 25

    [Reload] - Gives 5%,10%,20%,30%,40% that you are going to make your enamy reload on hit.

    [Robbed] - Gives 10%,15%,20%,25%,35% chance to rob your enamies ammo by 15%,20%,30%,40% percent

    [maneuver] - Gives your Goblin a 2%,5%,10%,15%,20%,25% percent chance to evade incoming damage, aswell as boost's your speed by 2%,5%,10%,15%,20% percent

    [Cheater] - By not playing fair, Goblin's knife has a 5%,10%,15%,20%,25%, chance to apply poisened mode, which is like being drugged for 1,1.5,2,3 seconds. This causes 1,2,3,4 dmg per second while slowing down his enamy slightly(like warden's poisen)

    [[ULTIMATE-Shadow Walk]] - Makes you invisible for 1,2,3,4,5 seconds,has 45,35,30,20,15 second cooldown, at this stage you can only use your knife, you cant defuse/plant the bomb and you dont get any XP from

    kill's, and you are revealed on the radar while invisible.

    [Passive ability] - Because the Goblin Thief has to steal to get an advantage, he may only get 1000$ per round at the most, making it primarly a knife race, and earning his money slowly so that when he does get weapons, they dont come easy.


    Im not sure how much zero can do out of these skills in terms of limiting some of the skills, but it sounds pretty fun to me personally, maybe could be a nice IBIS original race after the older ones get finished. All i know is that reload skill and ammo skill would make me rage lol, but it would be fun.

    i decided to go ahead and outline my idea for a medic support class.

    Buddhist
    Req. level: 200
    Spawns with mp5, deagle. Is limited to those weapons, knife, and grenades.
    mp5 deals no damage to enemies.

    Skill names derived from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism

    Samsara - Bullets from your mp5 heal teammates that you shoot for (10, 20, 30, 40, 50%) of damage it would otherwise deal to enemies.

    Samadhi - 2 ideas for this one. Either
    a. You start with (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) extra health and full armor
    or
    b. (20, 40, 60, 80, 100%) chance to cause a headshot to deal normal damage

    Asura's Blessing - Your smoke grenades heal your teammates within its area for (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) health per second. the health given can exceed a player's maximum health, but is limited to 50 health given per life. (similar but opposite to hell hunter's poison smoke)

    Dukkha - (5, 10, 15, 20, 25%)Chance with deagle shots to deal 200% damage (not 200% additional damage, 200% total damage. i.e. on a 35 damage shot, you would instead deal 70 damage total).

    Nirvana - Chance to resurrect a dead teammate with 50% max health and summon them to your location. (% chance to resurrect being the same as other resurrection skills). Max 2 times per round(?)

    i would go with (A) for samadhi and nirvana shouldnt be a chance, it should just summon a random dead ally. But i personally would add a twist to that, and have that summoned teammate start loosing 2 dmg/s after a minute? this gives enough time (2 minutes almost, the optimate time for a round) to complete objectives and kill ppl, but not enough to have someone just camping and summoning people... Not sure about what ppl think about kdr, but skilled players should find a way to finish the round before the whole countdown ends and their health depleated...adds more suspense to this game

    interesting, but yeah i was trying to avoid say, 3 teammates being wiped out in one spot and all being summoned by the buddhist, who is already healing allies near him. though that would be an interesting addition to the game. and if it wasn't clear, the ultimate would be a passive thing, not active, just like other resurrection skills. the only reason why it'd be an ultimate is because it's freakin enlightenment lol, that's the ultimate goal of buddhists so it just fit. but having it be an activated ultimate with health draining or something is certainly interesting, though maybe it should start draining immediately, just making the guy almost like a temporary guardian. if you've ever played wow, something like how non-unholy death knights can raise an ally as a ghoul for a certain amount of time.

    Thank you for commenting on it, I thought Goblin would be lil OP, but then i thought, its wcs, some races are just OP, thats y it has a 600-750 req to use it. It also has a 1k per round cash limit meaning it takes 4 ever to save up for an actual gun, aswell as you dont get XP for getting kills in your ult, meaning its a hard race to lvl which takes skill, but also has higher reward.(also would be lots of fun lol, making ppl reload for no reason lol, RAGE)

    Blood Elf is my all-time favorite race, just because its a race that was used and played, i hope that it does get added at some point. It is one of the originals that gets over looked alot

    And they say 'I' make OP RACES! pffttt . Its a shame its restricted to 1 for ther server lol... We might need to buff up all other races with some haxxx to balance...

    So I know I am late here, but uh Brett? The harder thing to code would be the healing when shot thing. Besides the passive healing? That would be healing wave on chamaleon no? That or reversing the teams and damage on serpent wards. :P but overall I like the support race Ideas.
