holy crap i was off last night. i watched a different demo that i had just pulled of a different player entirely and posted that response on this thread.
i also kept telling my gf to put off her paper til tomorrow and she kept telling me IT'S DUE AT 9 AM TOMORROW and i was like just do it over the weekend or something. god yesterday was fuckin terrible for me XD
just watched it one more time, and for my final verdict, it certainly looks like walls at some points, but i have noticed that the locations of moving player models on sourcetv are way off, and reg is even crazier. i saw something crazy with lagi the other day, he was aiming at a dude's knee, stationary, crouched with the awp...shoots his head. then he's shooting full auto with a krieg, landing shots around the dude's legs, then the killshot is a headshot when the head isn't even visible. i see the same sorts of things several times in this demo, so the most telling times, when he seems to trace someone who's just out of his view, blocked by a wall, he could've actually seen that player due to lag and other things. that makes it tough to say for sure...as i said in my first post it does certainly look like walls. but that could just be the demo being screwy. not sure what can be done about that if anything...it's pretty damn impossible for a 3rd party to accurately show what 2 different players see when lag's involved. when you take this into consideration, and that most other instances where it looks like it could be walls can be explained by sound or radar and there are no cross-map walltraces or anything like that...i'd say it's not conclusive, and not enough for a ban. i do still stand by my first post, it LOOKS like walls throughout...but i bet if i watched myself i'd say the same thing.
