I think we're at the point where we can take your word for what Zero told you, but like the guy said in his unban thread he plays with friends associated with the clan and didn't know they were a hacking community. I've never heard of these goingbig guys, they're not famous like myg0t so I can see how you can not know know you're getting into. Also I don't think there is an official ban on site for these guys that is clear? Not saying Brett did anything wrong but let put it out there if it's true.

well if he took a look at their old homepage it's quite clear they were a hacking group. aside from that, the admin of the new group (and the original if i remember correctly is the user with the current name "zip #rip" (the #rip btw is used by many hackers to indicate an account that has been vac banned, and sure enough that one has been)if you look on the v2 homepage, that user is friends with basedgod here. now if he just knew 1 or 2 people in there, ok maaaaybe we can think about letting it slide but if the leader is his friend...it's hard for me to believe he didn't know what was going on there. as for the "official" ban on sight, i really should've made a post about it in the admin section when i got the green light from zero...can't imagine why i didn't, but the only stipulation that was offered to that was to make sure if they were wearing the tag that it wasn't just some lookalike tag. believe me i don't wanna just ban innocent people, that ain't how i roll.

as for the case of whether or not he has ever hacked, i have no demo to offer (could probably dig one up if necessary), but he only has 1 previous ban on another server for "scripting." if you look at his stats here http://www.ibisgaming.com/pub1_stats...lls&vorder=asc you'll notice a pedestrian 1.0 kdr, but 72.5% headshots with the deagle. that's an indication of mediocre skill, combined with very high skill. that doesn't match up to me. his multiple ip's makes searching for other accounts rather difficult as well.

between his relation to a group i have permission to ban on sight, the leader of that group being on his friends list, plus that mismatch in his stats...i personally can't see him being unbanned. thanks for being a normal person and actually posting something useful for once, nem seriously

I definitely see where you're coming from. the 72% headshot with the deagle isn't uncommon, its the nature of the gun. I'd say if we can find a solid demo of him hacking anywhere then keep him the same, if not I think we could give a warning to disassociate with the group and keep an eye on him to let him play, as long as he shows a willingness to be a productive member of the community, such as myself...

Why hack with just the deagle though? Looking at my stats, with the exception of the deagle, my headshots with pistols are between 20-30% higher than other guns, right around 70%. Now, we all know that I'm fucking amazing, but the anomaly can be explained in other ways than hacks.

I have to agree with Nem here on all points.

The only thing holding me back from unbanning this player is that I know you don't ban innocent people for BS reasons. I'm sure Zero or Clan will chime in here regarding that PM and group association. Need more info from the higher ups to vote anything.

As u can see, Zero gave us the ok on properly banning anyone in GoingBig.

The community is VERY limited, about 30 people at most if i remember yet.
It wasnt a public group, it was by invite or had to be approved in. So he can cut the bs about not knowing what the group was...

THE MAIN FUCKING PAGE OF THAT GROUP WAS ADVERTISING FOR HACKS... is he fucking serious?

The mere fact that the going big group just got hidden by administrators (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/goingbig) suggests that they are just aware recently that they are being hunted down via their steam group, and suggests to me that the people we banned or about to (like now) are and belong in the group. So thats why they probably now a V2 version without publicly announcing the hacks.

The mere fact that this guy belonged in BOTH, it means that he wasnt just randomly invited, but he is following the group (wouldnt he ASK why the group got dismembered in the first place? COME ON)
