Normally those letters come from automated systems tracking particualr torrents. 99.999999999% of what I dl is content that has no legal licance in the US and so they do not care and have no leagal authority to do anything. As a result I have dl a ton of stuff and never gotten a letter.

check out isohunt, mikey. Ive never seen any 1 not like it, or have anything negative 2 say about it. Ive also had the best search results with it out of any torrent site.... and this is coming from a torrent junkie.

piratebay has more variety, but isohunt's UI and ratios are far FAR better. but try baka first. they're really good about keeping dead torrents alive. i think there're oly like maybe 1 unseeded torrents there atm.

i've had piratebay find a ton of stuff isohunt either didn't have, or had and was dead. especially some things like visual novels and a few tv show seasons
