I *think* the way it works is an exact copy/paste, the same way we move stuff in the server. If that's the case then yes, the items in chests will be moved as well.

The good ol copy paste method does. I think due to the amount of "copy Pasting" needed, the plan has changed to a more efficient and less time consuming method. I will find out and post back here.
