I used to hate slipknot before I knew much about them and I thought they were weird. Once I listened to some of their music I liked it.

yeah i miss all the anger/hard life driven lyrics and music. Now-a-days its all about some chick dumping you and "breaking your heart"...even in the metal shit. It's annoying as hell too.

90's rock was great. Its hard to find "pure anger/hard life" music anymore =/.
Rarely does anything good come up in my searches.

Godsmacks music just sounds to uhh.. "reocurring". I do love the song Whiskey Hangover though..

To this day Break Stuff still brings back good memories =P.

i felt the same with godsmack... after they released their second album i felt it was the same shit...

i remember listening to hed pe with my friends... shit is fun get drunk get high music...

actually the first band i got into was marilyn manson when antichrist superstar came out when i was 12. after that my music taste was everywhere

I think they are okay but the whole "omg awesome metal" crap I hear from Slipknot fans pisses me off to no end.

Also after maturing I started to hate their music more and more. Used to think "wait and bleed" was amazing, now I don't really get it.
