    Huh, well I suppose you're right, it might not really matter to you, but to the average citizen who cares about the condition of the economy it might be a bit more important.

    I'm still an average citizen, but I saw the economy tank severely in September. Local governments cut government jobs, my mother lost almost all her money in retirement funds, and I was graduating college at the worse time. Considering the field I wanted to get into, almost all government jobs have a hiring freeze (except the military), and who knows when it would be opened again. But we bailed out the banks, and let everyone else suffer in the process. I'm not the only one who has had issues in finding jobs in this economy in my field. For that, it makes me feel better to know I'm going into a career that is secure.

    Then we agree, I suppose that what those emails imply is just a tiny part of a big problem that our country is experiencing, maybe just not a part you personally care for.
