no matter what we do, if we spend money, we make people rich. so why target holidays.

you really have an issue spending a couple dollars on a card for your mom on mothers day? what is it will ppl in this community and being so cheap... it's amazing.

spending a couple dollars on other people a few times a year wont break your budget unless you live in a cardboard box.

i dont have probs giving card and i dont mind spending money on people (just not my parents so they miss out) but i often get stuff for my grandparents

i just don't need one of those stupid holidays that dont mean jack shit to tell me when i have to give a present or not. i just give something whenever i feel like it. i dont need holidays that have been enforced to tell me when i go celebrate something or when we should do stuff together with the family. That's just real bs cuz it seems like people cling on to that stuff so much and need those as a reason to get together or give presents. which is actually kinda sad
