a warning to everyone: DO NOT USE ANCIENT SHROUDED COWL if you find it. not only does the mask part of it not show up, but it reset ALL of my skills except archery and one handed, and it makes all weapon and armor effects null. i just got to level 40 and realized that...ugh.

dont know what you encountered, brett. but i had absolutely no problems with the ancient shrouded cowl. in fact, i wore it all the time.

lucky bastard lol. all i know is when i go back to the save i made at the start of that dungeon, i have no problems. my first save after, everything's fucked to hell. on pc if that makes a difference
