So whether you like to lurk the threads there or not, I strongly suggest you start posting your opinion about bans and your reasoning (and not just jump on a ban/unban wagon started by another ULA or the majority of people). You'd be surprised how many times the actual facts lined up with the underdog on the thread as long as they properly posted their opinion.

It also gives us a good idea on who you are and how you handle bans, and how active you are.

Don't be affraid to fuck up (as long as you learn from it) becauseyour opinion is only an opinion when you're an admin... as opposed to when you become a ULA... then your opinion matters on bans, and we need to know how solid it is.
Do that first, and consistently. Then nudge me about the app
ULA requirements: have admin for a significant amount of time, prove how adept you are at catching hackers and how much time you currently spend in the servers by frequently catching hackers and posting in bans that you weren't involved in but watched the demo and agree or disagree with, and are known not to be a shitty admin among the general population (abuse threads, etc). We have no standard (despite the minimum requirements), and base the quality of each applicant on their general status among the IBIS community. While our requirements are the baseline, we judge those that qualify based on what's going to benefit the server.

Applicants may meet the minimum requirements, but not considered for ULA because they have too many abuse threads posted against them in which they were complete assholes without abusing admin.

Applicants may meet the minimum requirements, have no abuse threads, but still not considered because while they may have put forth the minimal effort required in writing, they didn't do enough in which enough of us has noticed.

Applicants may meet the minimum requirements, have abuse threads, thought of as an asshole by the IBIS general server population, and still considered for ULA because of the amount of effort shown to be at the benefit of the IBIS community.

Under no consideration will an applicant be considered without the minimum requirements.

If the above is not specific enough for your understanding what is expected by us for ULA requirements, then you probably will not make it. We expect you to make time and genuinely care, nothing less.
