shoulda done 5v5 knife round, 2 captains being picked from this round, and they get to pick the teams out of the pool(every1 in spec besides the 2 captains), meaning they get the choices and its not random or decided by any1 else that is not involved with this scrim.
I usually play a pug with this rule set often, the winner of the knife round gets to pick first pick or map choice, but in this case since the maps r decided it would be first pick/side choice, this way a team can discuss their picks and end up with the team they want, and can only blame themselves if they lose, because it was their choices that effected the scrim=less QQ about team's
Thank you for the opportunity to scrim against some of the best. However, I will not be able to attend the scrim. If you can, please remove my name from the list. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. See ya in the server!

Derp, ok i just confirmed that i cannot be there on friday. So i guess this means i'll be dropping out
Not trying to boast or anything, but if that were the case, it would ALWAYS fall down to either myself, shady, or maladjusted, since we are the dominating leaders of knifing at normal speed.this would also not mean that they picked the best leader just because they knifed better
i mean, im personally able to single knife 90% of all of you, at any given time, but that does not make me a better leader for my team since i am very hot blooded and get pissed off easily: clearly not the best quality of a smart and patient leader. Also, if you guys are having trouble picking a leader for your team, then you guus are already fucked.... If 2-3 people are more than competent to lead, you can always alternating round/map leaderships... Gives everyone a chance to prove themselves, until a next scrim is made.
Um.... was there some knifing tourney im not aware of? You being a leader has nothing to do with what im saying. What i am saying is that this way, you make your own teams with the players that are going to play, rather then some1 else setting up the scrim or making this random or somehow trying to balance it out. At the end of the day, the players play, and if you don't feel that the generated team was fair, the only other option i see is for you to make your own team therefor by winning the knife round, which is giving you this opportunity. Even if you don't win the knife round, you can help suggest who u want on your team after you get picked by one of the captains building the team that you feel will win.
Its not a hard concept, i see this being done all the time in scrims/pugs, this way there is less QQ and excuses if you end up losing, and not putting so much pressure on admins/ppl who help set up the format of the tournament/scrim.

and whats up with these last minute drop outs? Couldn't notify sooner? i still hope replacements will have time to be notified since some ppl sign up without knowing if they will be able to attend or not.
Sadly, I now can confirm the same thing as Kanife and Masskid said - if this were any other Friday (and not one before Easter), it would have been fine. Since I'm going to see my family and I can't bring my stationary computer, I will not be able to participate. Apologies.

They said welcome aboard."Our subject isn't cool, but he thinks it anyway - he may not have a clue, and he may not have style, but everything he lacks, well, he makes up in denial!Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back.
I'm just happy that there is some form of competition happening in the community. Competition always gets my blood pumping! I hope this scrim goes the distance, and neither team dominates totally. It will get everyones appetite for competition nice and moist.
