You seem to not understand what Zero was saying, until 8 hours ago the command indeed would function, and result in you attempting to break the rules. It is not reasonable to assume that in such a short window an admin would not only be aware of this change, but that you would be aware of it as well. It still appears that you attempted to use the command, but when it did not work felt you would be exempt from punishment, which btw was very minor. Your argument is post-factual and in the context of the situation the admin did exactly what they were supposed to do, your self-righteousness is misplaced and erroneous.
I hit Brett right in the feels.
If you watch the demo, you'll see that Ledgeby
- was actively playing at the time,
- was in my vicinity at the time,
- must have seen that !block didn't work at the time (and understood as much based on my comment in in-game chat about it not working),
- didn't receive any complaints from any players in chat or over mic that they were just blocked by me,
- must have understood that !block didn't work for whatever reason by observation,
and then decided to slay me anyway.
Punishment was unnecessary. He had to have known that. And he slayed me anyway, just because, then didn't care about the facts surrounding why he slayed me in the first place, which is arrogant. Which goes back to my original point,

You really have no one but yourself 2 blame as obviously not everyone is going 2 know it has just been patched.
I see no abuse here... just an admin trying 2 enforce the rules.
No abuse, closed.

Just because he was playing doesn't mean he was paying attention to you, nor is it his obligation to. You tried to break the rules, you just failed due to something newly implemented. I don't think this is admin abuse because as far as the admin knew he was correct and was acting in good faith, and this change is very new. It would be similar to when !give was changed on GG, if you typed it and nothing happened the admin could still think it did ad punish you.
What would have helped is if the admin verbally confronted you first, then maybe it could have been worked out, but it's not that big of a deal as the admin wasn't just being a cunt, but rather uninformed.
