Climate Change will happen, even if it's a part of a natural cycle, so planning on Climate Change happening is a good bet. Might as well be prepared for what may come, instead of being caught without a plan. That said, CO2 emissions have already upset a number of natural processes, beyond the claimed warming of the atmosphere. Due to the increased CO2 count in the atmosphere, the ocean's acidity has increased in some areas, which has devestated some Coral Reefs. In other areas of the ocean, Jellyfish population has exploded, due to their natural predators having a harder time (presumed due to oceanic environmental factors). Even if the earth wasn't to warm due to human activity (which seems unlikely), it's obvious that some places have experienced huge amounts of drought, wildfires have increased (likely due to a combination of drought and an interruption of the natural wildfire processes out in the western states), and a number of species are becoming endangered or extinct.
