Climate Change will happen, even if it's a part of a natural cycle, so planning on Climate Change happening is a good bet. Might as well be prepared for what may come, instead of being caught without a plan. That said, CO2 emissions have already upset a number of natural processes, beyond the claimed warming of the atmosphere. Due to the increased CO2 count in the atmosphere, the ocean's acidity has increased in some areas, which has devestated some Coral Reefs. In other areas of the ocean, Jellyfish population has exploded, due to their natural predators having a harder time (presumed due to oceanic environmental factors). Even if the earth wasn't to warm due to human activity (which seems unlikely), it's obvious that some places have experienced huge amounts of drought, wildfires have increased (likely due to a combination of drought and an interruption of the natural wildfire processes out in the western states), and a number of species are becoming endangered or extinct.

No one is saying pollution, de-forestation etc is not happening but they are saying there's no evidence to support the link between climate change and carbon for which the UN wants to create the most powerful global government in history in order to control everything we do via taxes which solves nothing.

Climate change has been happening for the past few years. Yesterday up in the Northeast it was 70 degrees outside. I swear I broke out my summer clothes. This isn't typical December weather. Normally by this time we have had snow in November, but we have yet to see a major storm hit us. What should have been snow on Thanksgiving ended up being 3 days of rain storms because of 50+ degrees in weather.

The point of my leftist, rightist comment was to exactly pin point why people like Glen Beck have a show. To criticize all parties who he can find a blame for. However, Global warming interest groups come from those same exact interest groups that senators have deep pockets in. You guys should really look into what senators have commitment from this scam. One of them is republican senator who has a seat in the EPW. So ROFL again on the whole this is a leftists issue. They are all scammers.

All these implications aren't new in exposing false numbers. Water Gate comes to mind.

Wow, that is some shit, actually the weather has changed here in the NW too. It used to be warmish and rainy all through December and January, it has gotten progressively colder and colder, we even get snow for a week or two every year.

I think seeing what people like Glenn and Rush do is quite entertaining, it's like watching reality TV or reading a gossip magazine.... only with more drama.

+1 On the "They are all scammers."

I just wanted to add that I have conducted my own research using data from NOAA and NASA to create regression models. Using Co2 and CH4 levels from every month since December 1979 along with global temp records from NOAA I could only get it to explain 25% of the data. Even when the sun was added in and Co2 and CH4 were squared to account for there non linear relation (which by itself disproved the logic of global warming) the highest R^2 was .36 with an F-stat of 16 or 18. (note that the f-stat for co2 and ch4 alone was higher).

The important note here is that even given the most logical variables, the climate can not be accurately statically modeled to a degree that would allow anyone to reach any true conclusions one way or the other. Also I would note that it is very likely that the original measurements (atleast from the US) are so bad that the changes are likely to be within the margin of error for the actual measurements. Ergo we have no idea wtf is going on. If you check http://www.surfacestations.org/ you can see how bad our current data is.

If global warming is really going on and we are the only thing that can stop it; it is imperative that we correct the huge number of errors in the current system and also ensure that all of our data is accurate so that we can truly understand what is going on and the best way to stop it based on real true, reliable and accurate data.

File is attached, you can also make some graphs if you want to visualize the trending.

I heard something about "Earth isn't the only planet heating up in our solar system."

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

It isn't. That's the scary part about this all. It's not just the Earth, it's the entire solar system. Considering I read this information a year ago in an astronomy class. It's only going to get worse. This is being caused I believe from what I read by increasing temperatures from the Sun, and gravitational pull.

I hadn't heard this, so I figured I should read up on it. Found:
    http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...s-warming.html
    http://www.newscientist.com/article/...rming-too.html
    http://www.skepticalscience.com/glob...lar-system.htm

Haven't had a chance to read through these yet, but will do so when I get home. Seems like a good bit of speculation though.

The problem with science is you will always have a scientist who has skepticism to what another scientist finds. The argument of climate change in the solar system is comparable in my opinion to those who look for when does a fetus feel pain in regards to abortions.

Reading through these articles, I'm looking at a ton of bias from different scientists quoting different findings from different sources. Some people who are even unaware of what other planets functions are in the solar system. Example would be Jupiter, where Galileo in his earlier findings thought Jupiter internally generated heat, also considering it's high CO2 levels.

I also forgot to mention in regards to the sun and gravitational pull is other astronomical happenings in the solar system. The funny part that I always found interesting about space is there is more than 1 million galaxies that collide with each other. I forgot how many years this goes on, but it loops out plenty of planets when these collisions occur disrupting normal functions of the planets.

Note that during that it is very rare for things to physically collide. Also the temp comparatives I hear about were from Mars (took 2 semesters of astronomy in collage and 1 in high school).
