    theres also the misconception that katanasa and other swords dont break...
    they can and will, and if not will at least chip and rust after time

    Yeah I mean it makes you think. If katanas were such effective weapons in combat then why didnt other cultures adopt the technique? It definately has its flaws. Plus the lethality of the blade is all about your slashing technique. Meaning if you just try and flail with it you're more likely to injure yourself rather than a zombie

    Dont forget thrusting.....

    Maybe they didnt adopt it because the didnt have the time to teach and create skilled swordsman. It takes ages to make a decent sword with the supplies and technology they had back then. Guns and gun powder was a much cheaper faster way to win wars and battles.

    well practically speaking i doubt any of us would be good at thrusting a sword at mobs of zombies. by the time any of us can pull it out wed have zombies eating us already haha

    So are we all saying that sowards will not work?...because they are cool and all but i just dont think they would work with mass zombies...pluss by maybe that 10 or so your finger would be dead..and afther about 100(if you were able to stay alive that long)..it would break soon..so sowards are ban to...once again..the tank shines through!!

    Yea...... wouldn't be too good after mobs and mobs of zombies.
