I hate when people assume shit. Verizon also does Fios.

Got a blister? Ibuprofen. Can't feel from your waist down? Ibuprofen. Got a spider bite? Ibuprofen. - SPC S-Rod & Me
I was talking about our cell phones.... ?
Where I live and go Verizon has the best and in many cases only service, especially when 3g is concerned. In addition I would never use any GSM based technology no matter the cost or service. GSM is total shit, anything that causes such large EMC that it actually fucks with your speakers is a joke. People that use that shit half to leave it at the door or >10ft away from any electronics in my place. Especially in the case of speakers my shit is worth thousands upon thousands of dollars. I will not have it fucked up by some dam GSM phone.
What is the point of a phone that needs to be turned off just to be placed near anything electronic, what a fucking joke.
All phones that are not using Verizon or sprint for example are GSM. If it is not CDMA it is GSM. If it is on AT&T it is GSM.
This issue is actually heard quite often but you may not even realize that it is being caused by a phone. If you have ever sat in a class room with speakers for example and hear that morose code like sound come out of the speakers that is it.

Even if it does not break your speaker and electronic equipment it can permanently damage it and effect the sound quality permanently.
Here you see the actual industry war about possible dangers (to avoid being sued)

this is interesting, as I stated before I have never had this problem, and I am around highly concentrated electronic equipment alot. Maybe its not an issue anymore?
