thats pretty much it. Shots is really streching a thin line here: u'd have to be standing there and testing it to see if THIS TIME the wards touched under one hostie. As i said, even as CT, it counts.

What i want to add is the following:
whether or not this SPECIFIC warding case touches 1 of the hosties or not, shots has litterally warded under the hosties on that same map, and killed ME too when i was hiding as rapscallion behing that same hostie... So i can vouch personally that he got lucky that his wards are tricky here, but many other occasions he blatantly wards halfway in the hostie room above, and a shitload of other maps thousands of times.

I have warned him and punished him myself. He does it more often than an 'accident'. Personally i think he just wards regardless and crosses his fingers not to get banned afterwards...

His demo , this time, backs him up that the wards are borderline, perhaps thats why he is hiding in plain sight, but i dont blame checkster whatsoever for taking borderline actions, since many admins, includig myself, told him NOT TO WARD THAT SPECIFIC AREA because there's a HUGE chance of fucking up aNd warding under hosties... And he is DELIBERATELY IGNORING ADMIN, throughout his history, not necessarily this demo....

He probably watched the demo, saw that he was in the clear THIS time and decided to challenge checkster's word , and subquently, every admin who warned him about warding under the hosties. He just got lucky i think. Surely exploited the maxx range of that first and last ward

nope they do damage ppl above them. i was once standing on hosties on that same map, and shots himself warded under the hosties and i go fucked upstairs ... the wards like cylindrical effect, where the graphics are the middle of its axis.

THAT said, i watched the demo. The first wards he put: the graphics dont show that they touch under the hosties, however the effect does, since the effect usually expands a foot or 2 further than the animation. 1 of the hostages would be under the effect of wards. that said, the guy was a CT so the he wasnt blocking the objective for CTs to get that last hosties, and the Ts can still do their objective being a bit further than that corner..

The other 2 successive times he warded, he warded inside the house ,but did not block path to the objective => he's clear on those for once.
the last time, when u jumped him as rapscallion, its tricky... its almost the same crap as the first one, barely i mean BARELY noticeable in the hosties room...

Shots did not ward the the objective THIS TIME, but he sure is calling it VERY thin... i suggest u start watching out where u ward shots, for future references.

checkster, he probably has a shitload of priors but he didnt do anything to prove that ban.

as for the abuse :1- it was only a 30 minute ban, the ban expired by now.
2- checkster made a mistake, for sure, but as for abuse, i wouldnt go that far, because in retrospect, shots was very close to warding under the hosties, and this scenario could be funny assessed during the game because checkster was still alive and couldnt see the extent of the wards. he made a judgement call based on priors and the damage he was getting at the BORDERLINE of the hosties.
He didnt just go all out on banning u for no reason, the reason was there, the reason is justifiable, however the reason was not fully valid in this case.

my 2 cents say, no intentional abuse. shots needs to not wear the admin patience buy deliberately making close calls with the wards and hoping we let it slide every time, and checkster needs to keep a closer eye next time.


also: shots wallHAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX at tick 26k ???? no way in fucking hell u could know to prefire there, and dnt give me the bs of "i heard footsteps"... with the hosties following u , u couldnt hear shit! lol and i also heard that "can" sound, but doesnt rly pinpoint what direction now does it? unless u rly know tihs map inside out, and know the borderline of ur exploits of the wards ....

Later that night i was the only admin on, on the same map he was warding the hosties when I was there, after people ask me to come in I gave him a warning and next round he did it again so i slayed him. He kept doing it people where telling me to ban him but i didn`t so Treehoe got fail boat to come in and right before he came in he changed his race, after fail boat told him he was treading in thin water. I personally Think shots should know the rules by now. so what checkster did was justified on the ban, but what do i know im still a noob admin

no abuse. I also don't understand why every one has all these horror stories of this kid warding objectives... yet has only 1 ban on record? next time he does it.. BAN HIM. he's long past the point of warnings and kicks.
