    can someone help me? i bought this game at walmart, but the cd key isn't recognized by Steam so i can't connect. but others have bought it at target, and they can validate through steam just fine. anybody know what the issue might be?

    you're prob putting the cd key in wrong or something.

    are you able 2 install the game and just not get it validated through steam or are you not able 2 isntall it at all?


    also you could always go to ea support and email then.

    No. It started working for like 3 days straight and then began crashing on me again.

    You can't install the game through Steam.. It is really stupid, I know.. But you have to install it from the disc, and you can't register it with Steam unless you buy it from them.

    So the best you can do is add BFBC2 as a shortcut on Steam.

    The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.
