Blade, at this point I try to play the game of trying to guess some possible roles based on most common aliases to show, with their specific traits...
however, i don't know any of the candidates, nor do I feel like wasting time on a shitty election, for another country, that will not really matter at all actually. #IlluminatiTooOP

So if someone feels like handling that this time, go ahead, i'ma just enjoy the show till day 2. Then I promise I'll be mentioned on every news station!

At this point, every candidate feels like a waste.

I would say the layout is one of three options:

6v2 (49.5% chance)
5v2v1 (49.5% chance)
5v3 with a traitor (1% chance)

My guess is on the 2nd option because it would be very easy to put one of the odd runners as a 3rd party.

What would you have expected? Mafia isn't going to go around waving a sign saying, 'Hey guys, I'm not going to say 'I'm town', because I'm not. Sound good?" My statement doesn't change anything (nor does anyone else's); in fact, the only thing it does is better conceal me if I am mafia. By not saying 'I'm town', I would be singling myself out. Saying anything more than the binary statement, as you mentioned earlier, has potential to invalidate your claim - that also singles you out. Neither town nor mafia has a reason to add anything to their claim since it has potential to be invalidated.

In other words: sure, mafia can just dodge the question or not post, but they would have better results if they just complied, since the 'lie detector' only has a 1/4 (assuming 2 mafia in this setup) chance of actually targetting the mafia.

That is true since 4v2v1 would be overkill.

If they had it balanced at 7 IE.(5v2) Adding the extra as a 3rd party makes more sense, something like a survivor.

Also since Blade isn't moderating should I still be referring to this. I pulled it off of one of Blades beginner games.
